Heath wins 2nd Term

Boulderite Rollie Heath crushed his Republican opponent Barry Thoma in his successful bid to represent SD 18 for another four years. Heath was endorsed by CARPAC and received a whopping 78 percent of the votes.

Levy to Serve another term

Claire Levy crushed her opponent, Charles Ochs, in her bid to retain her seat in the Colorado House of Representatives. Levy received 68 percent of the votes in her successful bid to serve her fourth and final term. Levy was endorsed by CARPAC.

Singer Retains House Seat

Jonathan Singer (D) will serve as the representative for House District 11 for the next two years. He was appointed to fulfill the remainder of Deb Gardner’s term when she resigned (see above). He defeated fellow Longmont resident Ellyn Hilliard, who had received an endorsement from CARPAC.

Races in which CARPAC made no endorsement

The reasons for not endorsing a candidate vary. In some cases it is because CARPAC did not see one candidate as clearly pro-REALTOR® over the other. Sometimes a lack of an endorsement is because of candidates’ lack of participation in CAR’s interview process.
