GARA Supports 4C
The Greeley Area REALTOR® Association’s Board of Directors voted unanimously to support ballot issue 4C. The question will ask voters to approve a $395 million bond request for Greeley/Evans School District 6. If approved, the bond will fund capital projects, including renovating and remodeling existing schools to enhance security as well as creating capacity in schools that are overcrowded; rebuilding two schools that are beyond repair; constructing a new K-8 school; repairing roofs and heating and cooling systems; improving educational spaces to help students prepare for college and career and other critical building upgrades.
GARA supports the measure because good schools are important to clients and will benefit the community as a whole. Based on the price of an average home in Greeley, most homeowners will pay an additional $100 a year in property taxes if the measure passes.
