New collaboration with Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® and IRES MLS improves value and safety for brokers, agents and their clients
DENVER and LOVELAND, Colo. — April 16, 2019 — IRES MLS, a multiple listing service (MLS) firm that covers northern Colorado including Boulder, Broomfield, Weld and Larimer Counties, and the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® (DMAR) today announced a new reciprocal SentriLock agreement allowing for seamless access listed properties that utilize the electronic lockbox technology.
IRES and DMAR have more than 7,000 members each. This agreement gives all members of each organization the ability to access listings that are using SentriLock in either organization, with no additional fees, membership or paperwork requirements.
“SentriLock has innovated the traditional lockbox into something that is more secure than the old-school way of using a standard code to gain access to the key to the home,” Lauren Hansen, CEO of IRES said. “Because it uses Bluetooth technology and a smartphone app, it can track who has been in the home, when and for how long, making security a top priority for clients.”
Both IRES and DMAR are collaborating with the Pikes Peak REALTOR® Services Corp. (RSC), based in Colorado Springs. The SentriLock reciprocal agreement went into effect this month, and agents and brokers can begin using this benefit now.
“Many people are moving to Colorado from out of state and want to consider numerous communities,” Hansen said. “This agreement makes it easy for IRES or DMAR members to show homes up and down the Front Range, whether their client is looking to find a dream home, a second home or a condo for a college student.”
“Increased collaboration is the future of this industry, and we look forward to working with other REALTOR associations and MLS’s to provide seamless access to all listed properties using electronic lockbox technology,” Ann Turner, CEO of DMAR said. “We are happy that we are able to make this service available to our members now, just as the busy summer real estate season arrives.”
