CREN joins IRES in the Multiple Listing Services (MLS) data sharing partnership
Information and Real Estate Services (IRES MLS), and Colorado Real Estate Network (CREN) today announced further expansion of viewable real estate listings using the RPR View platform.
RPR View is the most widely used MLS data share solution in the country. This platform allows MLSs to display listings to their own customers only or to larger audiences such as all MLSs in the U.S. or a specific region. IRES and CREN have chosen to share all active inventory with one another.
“We are thrilled that our Realtor® subscribers can now view listings in not only northern Colorado but the Western Slope and southwestern Colorado. This expansion will allow Realtors® to better serve their customers and the public at large,” said Lauren Hansen, IRES CEO.
The addition of CREN listings will expand the footprint considerably.
“Realtors® subscribing to either MLS will now have access to search active inventory, share listings with clients and have more information for accurate real estate analysis no matter which MLS had the original listing,” said Jeff Follis, CREN CEO.
Realtors Property Resource, LLC® (RPR®), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS®, is an exclusive online real estate database created to support the core competence of its members. The parcel centric database, covering more than 160 million residential and commercial U.S. properties, provides REALTORS® with the analytical power to help clients make informed decisions while increasing efficiency in the marketplace.
Information and Real Estate Services, LLC (IRES) was formed in 1996 as the regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for Northern Colorado by five Boards and Associations of REALTORS® in Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, and Loveland/Berthoud. In addition to these five Boards and Associations, IRES is the MLS provider for the Estes Park Board of REALTORS®, and Logan County Board of REALTORS®. Its office is centrally located in Loveland, Colorado.
CREN was formed in 2005 and is the Regional Multiple Listing Service for the Western Slope and Southwest Colorado. CREN service areas include the cities of Delta, Montrose, Cortez, Durango, Pagosa Springs and Alamosa. CREN is owned by six Realtor® Boards and Associations. The CREN data base is comprised of over 9,000 Active Real Estate listings and 1,300 active Realtor® members that reside within 250 Realtor ® Offices.
REALTOR® is a federally registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

That would be great if I were selling real estate on the Western Slope or in far Southern Colorado but I’m not. I am however looking and selling in the Denver Metro area where I can’t search without belonging to two MLS systems. When Is Ires and RE Colorado going to get there act together??? That would be most helpful!!!
