Grano Resigns from Council
The Boulder Daily Camera reported that Jill Grano has resigned her Boulder City Council seat to run Representative Joe Neguse’s Boulder District Office. Neguse was elected to serve Congressional District 2, which includes Boulder and Larimer Counties (as well as areas west of the Front Range) in November.
This is a loss, because as a REALTOR® Grano was a positive voice for real estate during her one-year tenure on City Council. However, it also will be helpful moving forward because Grano understands our issues and can facilitate communication with Representative Neguse moving forward.
Interestingly, the City Council will not appoint someone to replace Grano on the nine-person Council. Instead, her seat will be vacant until the November 2019 election.
