Longmont: Development Activity Stable

Building permit activity in Longmont has been consistent over the past 2 years according to data provided to the City Council. 245 single-family permits were issued in 2016 compared to 200 in 2015. The number of condominium permits issued in 2016 was exactly the same as 2015 – zero. The City may consider a construction defects ordinance to encourage the development of condos this year.
