A CAR advisory group agreed that appraisal delays are a problem for REALTORS now and in the future. The question is, how can our industry help affect change in another? Fortunately, the Division of Real Estate is also aware of the problem, and rumor has it the Real Estate Commission will discuss it at an October meeting. However, this is a complex problem and deciphering the root causes of it will take time. If federal regulations and requirements are to blame, the timeline for resolution will be much longer.
