According to the State Demographer, Larimer County is the sixth largest county in Colorado. It is also the sixth fastest growing county in our state. In a presentation to the City Council last month, the demographer said Loveland’s population grew 8.9 percent from 2014 (67,406) to 2015 (72,983). The only towns entirely within the County that grew faster are Wellington (13.9 percent) and Timnath (218 percent). Note: Timnath’s amazing growth must be taken in context. The town grew from a population of 626 to 1,351 in five years.
