On Jan. 19 the City Council approved updates and revisions to the Land Use Code. The changes establish a common framework for the review of development applications. The framework provides a clear and standardized approach that can be adjusted to accommodate variations based on project size, complexity and site conditions.
These procedural additions reflect practices developed and refined by the development review team over the last several years to simplify and speed up the development review process, and to align the process more closely with the sequence of land development.” Time is money. The efforts to update the code will encourage more development in the City by making the process faster and more predictable.
