CAR staff and REALTORS who serve on the Legislative Policy Committee will be busy from January 13 through May 11 while the legislature is in session. CAR VP of Public Policy Ted Leighty recently offered a preview of the session and reviewed the bills important to CAR – legislation to create a first-time homebuyers savings account with a cap of $50,000; construction defects reform; home inspector licensing and a wildfire mitigation tax credit.
