Greeley: Greeley Joins 34 Coalition

The City Council approved the City’s participation in the newly formed Highway 34 Coalition. Weld County, Evans, Garden City, Loveland, Windsor and Johnstown are also in the process of joining the effort. CDOT encourages the creation of regional alliances because consensus and collaboration make grant funding more likely. Greeley’s Public Works Director says the Coalition will “help with regional coordination and planning and ensure the vitality of the corridor can be preserved for future improvements, economic development opportunities, aesthetic enhancements, and safety improvements.”
