Greeley: City Offers HOPE

The City of Greeley held a training session for 80 REALTORS and lenders interested in learning more about G-HOPE (Greeley Home Ownership Program for Employees). Up to $6,000 in down payment assistance will be available to qualified employees of the City of Greeley, the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley-Evans School District 6 and Banner Health towards the purchase of a home in the University District.

Under the program guidelines prospective participants must contribute at least $1,000 towards the purchase of a home. If the buyer lives in the home for a minimum of five years, the loan is forgiven. More information about the program is available through the Greeley Urban Renewal Authority (970-350-9830). Funding Partners is administering the G HOPE loan program. www.fundingpartners.org
