The Greeley Area REATOR Association is endorsing the following candidates in the City Council election:
Mayor: Tom Norton
At-Large: Sandi Elder
Ward 2: Randy Sleight
Ward 3: John Gates
The 3 incumbents (Norton, Elder and Gates) have demonstrated their continued support for REALTOR issues through their voting records. Although the ward 4 seat is hotly contested, Sleight stood out as the candidate with the most relevant experience (he is currently a Greeley Urban Renewal Authority Commissioner). In addition, Sleight’s answers during his candidate interview showed alignment with REALTOR positions on the issues of importance for the City. Note: All candidates were invited to participate in GARA’s interview process, after which the interviewing committee provided endorsement recommendations to the Board of Directors for review and subsequent approval.
